Tips on reading from Rev Sarah Sewell :

Tips from the recent training given after HC on 29th October.

A lectionary is a table of psalms and readings from Holy Scripture authorized for use in public worship of the Church of England.

This uses the NRSV translation.  It presents the reading without footnotes, verse markers etc.  It allows you to print out a very clean and readable copy that can used to prepare for the Sunday readings.

This site allows you to look up the reading and then create side by side presentations showing the passage in different translations.  This is very useful when trying to understand the meaning of a word and the sense that should be provided by the reading.
